✨ USROWING YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS ✨

Congratulations to our 38 athletes that competed down in Sarasota, FL this past weekend! It was hot, and there were MANY weather delays that made for some long and unpredictable days. Your commitment, dedication, flexibility, and grit was on full display.

The true VIPs are the parents who were patient, cheerleaders, helpers, and UBERs. Huge thank you to those parents who helped a different club’s flipped boat beach dock and get back to its trailer, you showed true sportsmanship. 👏

Thank you to our coaches Grace, Cory, Emma, and Ben, you have done a fantastic job with our athletes throughout the season.

Westerville Crew officially has four TOP 20 boats in the Nation!!! Amaze! Amaze! Amaze! 🎉

We haven’t sent that many 8s to Youth Nats since 2008, we haven’t sent a Varsity 8+ since 2018, and have never sent that many athletes in club history, this was our most competitive season in MANY YEARS.

Every one of you should be extremely proud of yourselves. It isn’t easy to get to this point, beating out hundreds of crews and clubs coast to coast for a chance to compete at this level.

Super exciting day here at the USRowing Youth National Championships, all 5 of our boats will be racing today! 🎉 It’s incredible to have 38 athletes (about half our juniors team!) here to compete against the top crews in the country. We’re so proud of all our athletes! Now just go have FUN out there today!!! 💙

What to expect...

July 13 - 25: Intensive beginner’s clinic
July 25 - August 15: Skill building and practice

Monday/Tuesday 6PM-8PM
Saturday 7AM-9AM

During the beginner’s clinic you’ll learn rowing terminology, water safety, equipment handling, and the basics of rowing.

During the rest of the sessions, practices will be a combination of growing your skills through drills and instruction, and you’ll continue to build some muscle memory.

☀️ LEARN-TO-ROW ☀️ SUMMER CAMPS ☀️

Do you have a 6-12th grader looking for a unique summer experience? We have a seat in the boat waiting for them!

During each 2 week youth learn-to-row summer camp session, your athlete will learn the basics of rowing (on and off the water), equipment handling, teamwork, and water safety. 🚣

Session 1: June 1-11
Session 2: June 22-July 2
Session 3: July 13-23

Each 2 week session is Monday-Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:30pm on Hoover Reservoir.

Specifically for those with no experience, and for any 6-12th grader in the central Ohio area!
