KNJ K-CULTURE DAY 2026 🇺🇸
Dear KNJ Families,
Hello! This is Grandmaster Jung.
As the hot summer comes to an end and the beautiful fall season arrives, I am very excited to invite all of our KNJ families to a special KNJ K-Culture Day!
I hope this will be a wonderful opportunity for our students, families, and friends to come together, enjoy Korean culture and food, and celebrate as one KNJ family.
📅 EVENT INFORMATION
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: GOGI Restaurant & Parking Lot
🥋 PERFORMANCE — 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Our outdoor program will feature special performances by:
• KNJ Demo Team
• KNJ Junior Students
• Korean Traditional Music Performance Team
For safety reasons, our younger students will not participate in the outdoor performance. Since the event takes place during the daytime, we want to avoid having our youngest children perform outside for an extended period. We greatly appreciate our parents’ understanding and cooperation.
🥩 KOREAN BBQ & DINING — Starting at 3:00 PM
Following the performances, GOGI Restaurant will open at 3:00 PM exclusively to welcome our KNJ families and guests.
Once inside, please look through the menu and order whatever you would like and enjoy as much as you wish!
Grandmaster Jung will cover the cost of all food, beverages, and soju.
We only ask that each family please take care of the gratuity/tip for your table.
Please note that this special meal is intended to be enjoyed together at the event. To-go orders and takeout are not permitted.
GOGI Restaurant can accommodate approximately 120 guests at one time. If the restaurant reaches capacity when you arrive, additional seating and dining arrangements will be available in the parking lot area where our performances are being held.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FRIEND & GUEST POLICY
We are happy for our students to share this special day with people who are important to them.
Color Belt Students:
May attend with their family and the student’s friends.
Black Belt Students:
May attend with their family, friends, and their friends’ families.
Please keep these guest guidelines in mind when inviting others so that we can accommodate everyone comfortably.
🚗 PARKING INFORMATION
A portion of the GOGI Restaurant parking lot will be used as our outdoor performance area, so parking will be limited.
We strongly encourage families to carpool whenever possible.
We also recommend arriving a little early and using available parking in the surrounding shopping center/mall parking areas.

This day is about much more than performances and food. It is an opportunity for our students, parents, instructors, families, and friends to come together and enjoy a meaningful day as one KNJ family.
I sincerely hope that many of you will join us, enjoy the performances, experience Korean culture, share a wonderful meal, and create great memories together.

Good Morning KNJ Families,

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe during this past week with all the storms and flooding.

I wanted to send out a reminder about Saturday's schedule:

9:30AM - Childrens class runs normally

10:20AM - P*e Wee class runs normally

No Demo Team practice this Saturday

12:10-12:30 - Children and Junior Blackbelt Candidate Meeting with Parents. If you normally drop your child off, please plan to come into the school and attend for some important information.

12:30 - 1:30 - Children and Junior Blackbelt Candidate Training

1:50 - 3:30 - Adult Blackbelt Candidate Training

All morning classes will run as normal.

Did you know that the practice of martial arts dates back over 4,000 years ? These traditional disciplines were originally developed for self-defense and military training, and have since evolved into respected forms of physical and mental conditioning worldwide.

Our goal is to continue these efforts and help to provide behavioral improvement in your child by using these same methodologies. It doesn't matter if your child has a diagnosed condition of ADHD, Autism, MS, etc, we work with all kinds of kids to help improve their quality of life through focused behavioral improvement and caring compassion.
