Attention all parents & students:

The academy will be closed this Wednesday, July 3rd and Thursday July 4th in observance of the Independence Day national holiday. Grandmaster Tran is proud to celebrate this holiday that celebrates the United States declaring freedom from tyranny with all his students. The martial capabilities of the colonies is what won our freedom, and it's with our continued martial arts training we stay strong enough to keep our freedoms. As you celebrate with your close friends and family, remember to keep getting stronger by practicing what you have learned. Heroes are not born, they are forged; they are those who stand when others won’t. Remember the bygone heroes of our past who fought to earn or freedom, and all those heroes in our military who helps us keep our freedoms.

The class schedule for this week will be…

Monday:
* Kids Taekwondo class 6pm to 7pm
* Adult Taekwondo class 7pm to 8:30pm

Tuesday:
* Kids Taekwondo class 6pm to 7pm
* Hapkido class 7pm to 8:30pm

Wednesday:
* Closed - NO CLASSES

Thursday:
* Closed - NO CLASSES

Saturday:
* Optional Open Mat Practice (No Hapkido Class)

Only a few more days until the Seminar, RSVP today!!

Grandmaster Hyun S. Kang & Grandmaster Jae D. Chun are holding a Hapkido seminar on Saturday June 22, 2024 @ 10am to 11:30am. This seminar will be a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and add new techniques to add to your skill sets. This is open to both Hapkido and Taekwondo adult students and is $45.00 per student. This is an optional seminar the grandmasters are providing our academy.

Master Lee is also planning to bring in some Korean food for attendees to refuel their bodies after the exceptional training the grandmasters’ will share everyone. Please RSVP with Master Lee and if you have any food allergies, please let Master Lee know in the email

Attention all parents & students:

The academy will be closed this Wednesday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth national holiday (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juneteenth). Grandmaster Tran is proud to celebrate this holiday that exclaims the end of slavery in the United States with all his students. Martial Arts is and has always been about the strong protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Slavery is the antithesis of this belief and must be prevented from ever taking root again. As you celebrate with your close friends and family, remember to keep getting stringer by practicing what you learn. Heros are not born, they are forged; they are those who stand when others won’t. Remember the bygone heroes of our past who fought to free those enslaved by the greedy and corrupt.

As a reminder to all the adult class students if you are interested in attending the Hapkido seminar this Saturday please RSVP with Master Lee by Thursday and pay her the $45 fee with cash or check. This seminar is open to ALL adult class students regardless of the art you are enrolled in.

Attention students and parents:

Master Lee has brought in a batch of new nunchakus for purchase.

There are 2 types available.

• Soft Foam handles with steel chain *$10*
- For kids and starters
• Aluminum handles with steel chain *$20*
- For adults and advanced practitioners

If you are still in need of your first set of nunchakus or need a new replacement set,please reach out to an academy representative for assistance.

Attention students and parents:

We are now 1/3 of the way through this current training cycle. Our next belt test will be Friday July 26th for the kids taekwondo students and Saturday July 27th for all other students. By this point all the required techniques for each rank have been taught and it’s up to each student to practice and perfect their requirements.

If you missed any days when your requirements where taught and still need to learn them, then you need to speak with the Masters to get caught up.

Please make sure you are bringing your sparing gear to every class if you are not already doing so. We will be using more class time each week to spare and train how to use our skills in one-on-one sparring training.

Attention students and parents:

With this weekend being a national holiday for Memorial Day (May 27th, 2024), the academy will close all weekend and re-open on Tuesday May 28th, 2024.

Hapkido students will NOT have Saturday class, and Taekwondo students (both adults and kids) will NOT have class Monday.

The rest of next week will be normal hours…
