Another productive week at Woods Valley!

• All 13 tower footings have been poured.
• Ten of our new towers have returned from galvanizing, with the remaining three scheduled to be completed next week.
• Tower footing forms are being stripped so each location can be backfilled and graded in preparation for the next phase.
• Fill is being trucked to the new top terminal site.
• Reinforcing steel is being bent and tied for the top and bottom terminal foundations—the final major concrete phase of the project.
• Ladders for all 13 towers are complete and will soon be heading out for galvanizing.

There are a lot of moving parts to a project like this, and it’s rewarding to see everything coming together. Every week brings us one step closer to opening day, and we can’t wait to share the finished product with you.

Another busy week here with our new quad lift project. Towers are being galvanized, concrete is being poured and fill is being moved to the top terminal. We poured two additional tower footings today and are preparing two more footings for a Friday pour. If that schedule holds we will have 11 of 13 tower footings done by Friday, July 10th.

Tuesday this week we delivered another 5 towers to galvanizing and brought home 5 towers that have been completed. Our goal is to have all 13 towers ready to stand up as soon as our concrete has cured (28 days from pour date).

We have been busy fabricating ladders for our new towers and making final modifications to the cross arms and lifting frames. These will soon be trucked out to be dipped in 800+ degree zink as well.

The actual list of line items that have been in motion on this project since this time last year is a whole other story - one we will tell over the next several months.

There are many amazing local companies and individuals contributing to this project and we will recognize them all a bit further down the road. For now, we will focus on the project and keeping our skiers and riders up to date on the progress.
