I’m so excited to be leading the 3rd Strong Bones Retreat at Kripalu on October 18–21, 2026 for women with low bone density and/or osteoporosis who want to feel stronger, supported, and empowered.

We’ll share yoga, strength training, connection, and the beautiful healing energy of Kripalu.

A little reminder: strength training isn’t only about lifting weights. 💥

Plyometric movement — small, controlled bursts of power — can help support:
✔ muscle strength
✔ balance and coordination
✔ reaction time
✔ bone loading
✔ confidence with movement

The key is to start where you are and progress gradually.

Today’s progression:

1️⃣ Explosive Heel Lifts
Lift onto your toes with power and control.

2️⃣ Little Hops
Small controlled hops off the floor.

3️⃣ Forward Hops
Hop forward, then step back and repeat.

4️⃣ Broad Jumps
A larger forward jump when your body feels ready.

Remember: even the smallest version counts. 💛

Move mindfully, land softly, and choose the level that feels right for your body.

Well… I have an update. 😄

The bag I lost in the French Quarter — phone, ID, everything inside — was FOUND. 🙏

After a full evening of panic, retracing steps, and imagining worst-case scenarios… it turns out it had simply been tucked under a table and safely held overnight.

Lost… and found.

A good reminder (again) to let go a little… and trust that things can work themselves out.

And now — back to what really keeps us steady:

movement.

Sunglasses. A hat. Earrings. Even my bag at one point.

It was frustrating… but also turned into a meaningful reminder about letting go.
