🥊 WESTBY YOUTH WRESTLING PARENT MEETING 🥊

It’s hard to believe we’re already getting ready for another wrestling season! We’re excited to kick off the 2026–2027 Westby Youth Wrestling season and want to invite all wrestling parents to join us for a parent meeting.

We’ll talk about the upcoming season, plans for the program, practices, events, tournaments and ways we can make this a great season for our kids.

Our wrestling program is only as strong as the people willing to help make it happen. Whether you can help at practices, work events, assist with concessions, help behind the scenes, or simply lend a hand when needed — every bit of help makes a difference.

This is our kids’ program, and we want everyone to feel like they have a part in making it successful. We’d love to see some new faces step up and get involved this season!

Come share your ideas, ask questions, and help us build an even stronger wrestling community. đź’Ş

I know it’s still a few months away, but we are already getting excited for another season of Westby Youth Wrestling! 🤼‍♂️❤️🖤

Do you have a child who has been asking about wrestling, wants to try something new, or is looking to build confidence, strength, and new friendships?

Our season runs late fall through March and is open to wrestlers from Preschool–8th! Whether your child is brand new to the sport or has experience on the mat, we welcome all skill levels.

Wrestling teaches so much more than takedowns — it builds discipline, teamwork, confidence, and character that carries off the mat too.

Keep an eye out for more information coming soon! We can’t wait to see new and returning wrestlers join the Westby Norse wrestling family! ❤️🖤

As we begin a new season with the Westby Norseman Youth Wrestling Club, we’d like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank our past officers. Your countless hours of volunteering, planning, fundraising, and supporting our wrestlers have helped build the strong program we have today. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for our athletes and families.

As our new board steps into these roles, we’re excited for what’s ahead—but we can’t do it alone.

Our youth wrestling program depends on the support of our amazing wrestling families. Whether it’s helping at tournaments, concessions, fundraisers, registration, setup, cleanup, or other events throughout the season, every helping hand makes a difference.

Many hands make light work, and when everyone pitches in, our kids benefit the most.

If you’re willing to volunteer throughout the season, we’d love to have you involved! No amount of time is too small, and there will be opportunities for everyone to help in a way that fits their schedule.

Thank you for being part of the Westby Norseman Youth Wrestling family. Here’s to a fun, successful, and exciting season. Go Norse!

Wrestling youth families: please respond/vote/give feedback accordingly, looking ahead at practices (I know, it still is a few months away, but truly it comes fast!)

As our youth wrestling program continues to grow, we’re excited to offer two practice options this season to better meet the needs of all of our athletes.

Beginner Tumble & Movement Class:
This class is perfect for young athletes who are new to wrestling or are still building confidence. We’ll focus on tumbling, body control, balance, coordination, and basic wrestling movements in a fun, low-pressure environment. It’s a great way for kids to develop fundamental skills while enjoying the sport. Meets 1x per week for first year kiddos

Competitive Wrestling Class
This class is designed for wrestlers who are ready to take the sport more seriously. Practices will focus on technique, conditioning, live wrestling, and preparing for competitions. This group is ideal for athletes who are committed to improving their skills and competing throughout the season.

Our goal is to provide every child with the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy wrestling at the pace that’s right for them. Whether your child is just getting started or looking to compete at a higher level, we’ll have a place for them in our program!
