The season is finally here! This afternoon we will have our Impact testing/Equipment handout. All 7th and 8th grade athletes will get their helmets, shoulder pads, pants, practice jerseys, and take their Impact test. Impact testing involves each player taking a test on a computer. If at some later point it is suspected that they may have suffered a concussion the information collected from the Impact test will assist us in knowing when it is safe for them to return to play.
- 3:30 PM - Forms will be available for parents to complete. Report to the Westby Area High School Commons
- 4:00 PM - 7th-Grade Concussion Baseline Testing / 8th-Grade equipment handout
- 5:00 PM - 8th-Grade Concussion Baseline Testing / 7th-Grade equipment handout
Practice will start tomorrow Tuesday Aug 18th @ 5:30 PM, All athletes meet on the field behind the Elementary School, in between the 2 baseball/softball fields, equipment on and ready to start!
For the first 2 practices it will be helmet only with shorts and practice jerseys. The next 3 practices will be Helmets, shoulder pads and practice jerseys, then after that it will be full pads. Athletes should ALWAYS wear cleats and mouth guards.

Tues. 9/1 - 1:30pm - 3:30pm FULL PADDED PRACTICE
Rest of the season would typically be 3:30-5:30 and will be fully padded practices, with no practice on Wednesdays. Late bus departs at 5:45
