As the New Year soon begins, I send to you warm regards and my wishes for 2022
I wish for the love and kindness we can share with each other to permeate the hearts and minds of those (including us) needing extra reminding that we are all in this life together— we breathe the same air, drink from the same deep well of water, touch the same earth, look into the same sky.
I wish for the spirit of creativity in each of us to flourish, the beauty that is right in front of us to be known, and the peace and clarity a moment of stillness can offer to lead us to more of those moments.
I wish for us to be guided into the precious future by wisdom and compassion as we negotiate the complicated path our individual and collective choices have created. I wish for us to create a better future for our children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and to create a better future for the creatures living alongside us.
I wish for us to live justly and peaceably side by side on this planet that is no more a home for me than it is for all others, wherever they may be..
And, as I send all of these wishes into the world—
I wish for you today, in your corner of this crazy world, enough of the good in life that is right here and now, to nourish and sustain you through the ups and downs of it all.
May my heart know your heart--
May we be free from the delusion of separateness.
