Congratulations to all our wrestlers. Coach Brad and Delano are delighted for a successful season with all of you. There are many other options to choose to go to in the sport in the area and its great to know that every kid comes back each time. When we ask each parent and child why they come to us its the same. Every child gets the attention they deserve and our coaching focuses highly on the technical aspects of the sport. It always nice going to meets or tourneys and hearing all the wonderful compliments from other parents and coaches. We may be one of the smaller teams in the state and that is completely fine as our results and character show and it is an expectation and team effort with everyone that makes it happen. Thank you to all that have supported us over the past couple years as we continue to move forward. AWARDS:
Nolan Mann- Toughness Award - Nolan has worked hard on in off the mat this season working on his speed, agility, and strength while not in the wrestling room and his results have shown. One of the strongest kids in the state and coaches have a hard time keeping him down. Nolan is a former State placer
Maddie Bailey - Rookie of the Year - Maddie has been with us the whole year on and off season and has been sticking with the sport ever since she started. She’s the first to arrive and last to leave. She gained a few Ws under her belt this season and kept going when competing against kids with up to 3 years more experience and gave them a run.
Myles Chaber - Most Improved - Myles has been with us the past two season and this year has made some incredible gains in the sport. Almost won his first tournament but came a little short but he looks better and better every time he steps on the mat.
A***n Ghuenes - Heart Award - A***n attends every tournament and meet he can possible go to. His wrestling IQ is far beyond the average wrestler his age. He had to go against some steep completion this year but every match he made his opponent fight tooth and nail the whole way through. He always has a smile or joke to lift the mood in any situation
Robert Duguid - Sportsmanship Award - Robert competes with other clubs yet trains with us through out the season to get a technical and tactical advantage. Robert always put his best foot forward, is willing to step above his own talent to achieve more, and pushes himself to do better every practice. Robert is a former State Champ and State Placer
Alex Jarmin - Hardest Worker - Alex trains with us once a week and has not competed yet as he wants to ensure his mental toughness is ready and there. Seeing him the past two years and coaching wrestling for nearly 10 years I assure you Alex is going to be one of the next big HWTs to come out of MA. When he does decide to compete, he is going to turn some heads and make his mark
EJ Sullivan - Coaches Award - Our youngest wrestler in our program. EJ comes to every practice with a smile on his face ready to go. He has not competed yet but when he does he will do just fine as he is able to keep up with everyone else in the room despite his age
Connor Mann - Outstanding Wrestler Award - Connor is the example of what wrestling is by many wrestler’s definition. He works hard to achieve more each time when he practices. He knows when to step it up but also knows when to slow it down in order to make others achieve success in the room. He is someone everyone looks up too at every practice and meet by his character first and his skills second. Connor is a former State Champ and he shows it every time he shows up.
