A Note from Master Adams:

Happy New Year! It's hard to believe that it's been nearly six months since MetroWest Martial Arts closed following the retirement of Master Gallo and Master Baker. I enjoyed teaching so many students there over the years and was grateful for the opportunity. I wanted to let former students know that I have returned to Villari's Martial Arts of Westborough, MA, where I started my martial arts journey back in 1981. Master Justin von Bosau is a wonderful instructor and has welcomed me, as well as some other former students from MetroWest. If any other students are interested in continuing their training in Shaolin Kempo Karate, I strongly encourage you to check out Villari's Martial Arts of Westborough, MA. Students can pick up where they left off at MetroWest Martial Arts since the combinations and forms are the same. We had some students who were so close to achieving their adult black belts! Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2026, and I hope to see you in the dojo!

To all parents and students:

MetroWest Martial Arts & Wellness Center will be closing its doors permanently, effective Thursday, July 24.

This is the result of an inability to reach a realistic lease agreement.

Master Gallo will be retiring from teaching at that time. It truly has been the honor of a lifetime to meet and teach each and every one of you, as well as the thousands of students since 1983 in Westboro and the surrounding towns. Our hope is that you continue your training and enjoyment of the martial arts. If you have any questions in your search for a new location, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at [email protected].
