This weekend, we have the privilege of hosting a Fitter & Faster swim camp for our Tarnsfield Torpedoes team and surrounding swim community. This will result in a delayed opening for the club, but fear not: we are staying open an hour later each evening to make up for it. Please note the adjusted hours below.

The Worrells have been a beloved and invaluable part of the Tarnsfield Swim Club and Tarnsfield Torpedoes families for more than 30 years, and tonight we honored their service to us by officially dedicating the space of the Worrell Family Pavilion.

Bob and Erica have helped build the Torpedoes into what they are today. Every swimmer that has enjoyed a season with the team has experienced the passion the Worrells have for swimming, both in the pool and in the team family spirit that is the core of the Torpedo experience. Bob has also spent many years with the Suburban Swim League of South Jersey, working with the broader community of teams in which we participate to continue to grow their organization.

Through it all, Bob and Erica have raised six incredible swimmers - as much in character as their talent in the water. Their embodiment of family, their passion for swimming, and their dedication to the community around them make us very proud to forever call the center of our club the Worrell Family Pavilion.

Please help volunteer with TSC at the Spellbound Century annual bike race on July 25th, 2026. The Spellbound community is very supportive of its volunteers on race day and grateful for all of our time and effort. As appreciation for our members taking their time to represent TSC, volunteers will receive free guest passes.

Well, folks, tomorrow looks no better than today. Temperatures will still be quite cool and it appears the rain will continue.

We will again be closed on Sunday, May 24th. This has happened to us before, in years past, when opening weekend brought lousy weather, but we know the promise of a beautiful summer is still ahead and look forward to every gorgeous day in the sunshine.

Monday looks promising, so let's all hope for a better day to kick off the season!

Mother Nature has decided she is not ready for summer to begin just yet. We are going to delay our opening day and will be closed on Saturday, May 23rd. We will watch the forecast for Sunday and hope for warmer temperatures and clearer skies. Stay tuned for updates.

Swim lesson registration is now open at TSC this summer. Membership is not required to participate in lessons. Secure your spot today.

Swim lesson registration is now open. Sessions begin 6/22, 7/13 and 8/3. Six sessions over three weeks, available Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday afternoons. Membership is not required to participate in lessons, though a discounted member rate is available. *Please note that all participants MUST be fully potty-trained. No swim diapers allowed.*
