The anniversary of my brain surgery is tomorrow and as I pack up the last two months in Mexico I feel more grateful for the love, light and beauty in my life than ever before.

Women getting older, like mid 40’s it’s a strange bag no matter how you shake it out. Not one of us looks in the mirror with out the voice of judgement.

Well today as I try on my jeans from day one and they are loose (yes!) and my new sun wrinkles are making my eyes look shinning I say thank you for the afternoon ocean swims and lazy pool side Sundays.

If you haven’t noticed today you are a bad ass experienced bitch who knows what she’s made of. 💣

Just sayin 🤷🏻‍♀️

Treat yourself kindly, give others space to be who they are without judgement, celebrate what you’ve been able to connect with, feel gratitude for the smallest things and remeber that today you and the world around you you are completely different.

The power of the present moment is so extraordinary, in it lies our entire existence. It’s the only time we are alive as the past is gone and the future isn’t here yet. 🤯

Of course we can’t just live in the now, we must look to the future and reflect on the past however if you find you live more often in those polar ends you aren’t living at all.

Today, take in the beauty of your surroundings, notice the freckle in your partners eye or the way your child smiles when you notice them. Maybe your world today is dark, notice the exquisite depth of your knowing this emotion, as it indeed has a gift for you of knowledge of the range of our imperfect human experience.

Deep breaths, it all is coming and going and happening now. For you. For me for all of us. 🙏🏼

First week in Playa Del Carmen and starting to get the flow of working in such a beautiful location. Doing some morning writing by the pool then off to connect with a few clients before an afternoon break at the beach. Feeling really blessed for this opportunity and for the beautiful world we live in. ☀️🌊🏝️

The power of friendship extends well into the realm of healing. ❤️‍🩹

In fact I think we meet certain people so they can help us carry ourselves from one definition to the next and elevate our ability to see ourselves clearly through the lens of friendship.

Or we circle back to old friendships at just the right time to support the passing of a relative, the end of a marriage, or even healing from cancer.

You reading this right now have felt the power of friendship when life was at its darkest. I know I certainly thank the universe for affording me the gift of true friendship.

So if you are feeling a nudge to call and check in with that friend you haven’t connected with in a while, listen to it and send a hello, it can literally help heal.
