DMMPC had a great response to VCC’s backpack drive while enjoying a Double Trouble event. Teams of 2 in coed, men’s and women’s divisions battled on the courts to claim a Double Trouble prize. Competition was intense but everyone had fun while playing. Next up, the Annual Meeting on Sept 23 at Polk County Pickleball starting at 5:00 PM.

DMMPC has a few portable net systems for sale. These are Picklenet brand and they are only slightly used. The retail for a new net of this type is around $200. We are offering them at $75 (member price $50). Contact Chuck at [email protected] if you are interested in one.

Also, DMMPC has a couple net systems purchased with funds from the annual Gala available for donation to a non profit looking to start or improve its pickleball program. Contact Chuck if you have a need for one of those.
