Today some of our guys along side West Des Moines Firefighter Kingsley and West Des Moines Police Officier Sutton climbed Valley Stadium stairs 26 times or 2,262 stairs in memory of 9/11/2001.

Firefighter Kingsley and Officer Sutton completed their climb in their full uniform and gear.

This Friday September 11th, Valley Wrestling will be participating in our 1st annual 9/11 Memorial Climb at Valley Stadium.

Memorial 9/11 Stair Climbs are held to honor the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Participants climb **2,200 / 110 stories—the height of the World Trade Center towers—**as a physical tribute to the courage and sacrifice shown that day. Each step serves as an opportunity to remember those who were lost, honor those who responded, and ensure the events and heroes of 9/11 are never forgotten.
