Good Afternoon – The first day of Spring has come and gone. Now we have the new Spring / Summer Valley Tiger Booster Club Concession Stand Volunteer Spots assigned. Please forward this request to your parent group. Students can participate with their parents. There are silver cord time slots as well as the student can sign-up in one of the parent spots.
As a reminder, I take all the concession stand spots and assign them equitably between the teams who are not competing in the Spring/Summer.

Money from the concession stand program goes to fill the financial gaps of the Valley Sports program. The School Board approves the annual budget, but unforeseen sporting expenses happen throughout the year such as rising travel costs and differences in the uniform replacement budgeted amount vs. the actual amount due to inflation.
The couple of hours requested from you to fill these spots reduces the amount of paid labor we need to run the concession stand which then increases the profitability for the day.
Please donate 2 hours of your day and volunteer in the concession stand. Your high schooler can help too. If you are bringing your highschooler along, count them as an additional spot when you fill out sign-up genius.
Steps to sign-up:

Review your calendar and look at the spots assigned to your team's sport.
Sign-up for a spot or two that works with your schedule by clicking on the club and then supply the requested Sign-up genius information. Spots filled for Thursday and Friday will help fill immediate need.
Arrive 5 minutes prior to your volunteer spot. Each concession stand has a number. If you are unsure, ask the concession stand manager to make sure you are where you need to be.
Complete your assigned tasks. These could be taking orders/ collecting money, wrapping hot dogs, bagging popcorn, or making walking tacos.
Your shift will be done at the agreed upon sign-up time.
By volunteering, you receive free admission to the sporting event and a free concession stand item.
