🏀 Here is the schedule for this week, January 26 - February 1:

Monday, January 26: Practice, 3:45, JV Game, 6:00 pm @ Waukee High School. Cooler with drinks and snacks provided.

Tuesday, January 27: Practice, 3:45

Wednesday, January 28: Practice 2:50

Thursday, January 29: Practice 3:50-5:45, followed by Team Dinner for both Varsity and JV. No help needed for this meal. Thanks to all who have donated and helped in the past... we will need help the following week!

Friday, January 30: Varsity Game, 7:45 @ Valley

Saturday, January 31: OFF

Sunday, February 1: Practice 5:30

Looking ahead:

Sunday, February 8: Parent-made Senior posters delivered to Valley… more details to come, and examples are attached to this email. Please start planning! You will need to drop off posters sometime in the morning on Sunday, February 8 if you want your senior to have a poster hanging in the locker room.

Friday, February 13: Senior Night Game Recognition and Post-game Dessert Reception. Thanks to the junior parents for planning this!

Sunday, February 15 OR Monday, February 16, 5:30 - 7:30: End of Season Team Celebration & Senior Recognition, tentatively scheduled @ Smash Park

Tuesday, February 17 or Wednesday, Feb 18: Players will present their black jersey and poster to their honoree. Details were presented at the team dinner last Thursday.

Thursday, February 19, pre-game: My Jersey, Your Impact.

Happy Sunday, Everyone. I hope you’ve had a good weekend!

First of all, we need help! We are not having a lot of luck securing donations for team dinners, moving forward, and it’s not for lack of trying!

Does anyone have any connections/contacts with local restaurants that we could tap into? If so, please contact Sarah Dixon (private message if you need her info).

THANK YOU for your help. We are starting to get a bit desperate… this week we are purchasing/baking/heating up pulled pork and mac and cheese from Costco (paid with $ from our basketball fundraising campaign).

Hello all! Here are a few updates for this weekend:

Friday, January 16: Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at the Varsity Game -- 7:45 vs. Ankeny @ Valley.

Don't forget that we have MEET THE PLAYER NIGHT before the game! Boys will be signing posters outside of the gym, starting at 6:30 pm.

Saturday, January 17: Dubuque event. Bus will leave at 8 am from Valley. Sandwiches will be provided in Dubuque before the game and pizza afterwards. Sophomores tip off at 12 and Varsity tips off at 1:30. Dubuque Senior HIgh School, 1800 Clarke Drive.
