Floated the Madison yesterday. Best fishing was in the morning. Small browns on the hopper, a few on the bead head serendipity dropper. The afternoon was hot and sunny, the fish took a break.

Got a nice one the other day. Hooked him close to us and then he ripped across the river and the chase was on. Had to follow him downstream below an island to get him in the net. When a fish does that it’s exciting!
