Raas - a dance defined by swift, precise footwork and rhythmic circular formations. But when you infuse it with Nruthu Aaloka’s signature style and 16 passionate dancers, it becomes a visual marvel.

For weeks, these high schoolers balanced demanding schedules with the precision this piece required. When students are this committed, it pushes me as a teacher to elevate my own craft. I couldn't be prouder of our first complex Raas debut at the iconic Carnegie Hall.

To my dancers: You mastered the technique and owned the stage. School teams might have missed out on your talent, but Carnegie Hall didn't. Keep shining. 💃🏽✨

Carnegie Hall – the most iconic venue, a dream for many to even step foot in! When you’re invited not once but twice to perform on that prestigious stage, it means only one thing - your choreography and students are truly a class apart 😍😍😍

For this special occasion on Jan 18 we showcased Raas, Rajasthani, classical fusion, and Bhangra numbers. After two months of hard work, the students lit the stage on fire with their high-energy, absolutely synchronized performance!

Bhangra is all about the jumps. When 16 of your students leap high in unison, that speaks volumes about their dedication and talent. We always stay true to the grammar of the style, and my students understand this deeply.

Sharing the five synchronized jumps from 16 bodies in Bhangra is a testament to how beautifully they brought our vision to life.
Bhangra is not just a dance; it’s a celebration of life and joy and my students personal favorite 😍😍

With each leap and every beat, we embrace the essence of tradition, bringing the vibrancy of our culture to the forefront. In Bhangra, the heart doesn’t just beat - it dances both for the performers and the audience. As a choreographer my heart was doing somersaults watching my students Bhangra in sync 😍😍

Countdown Begins ❤️❤️

With just a week until our big day at Carnegie Hall, we are filled with pride and excitement to present our pieces on the iconic stage on January 18 at 2 PM

We warmly invite friends and family to join us in supporting the incredible young talent from various schools and dance academies.

This January 18th holds great significance for Nruthu Aaloka, as we prepare to take the Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall for the second time 😊😊
We are very excited to present two vibrant medleys that showcase our signature high-energy style, all while remaining true to our artistic roots of authentic Indian folklore 😊😊

17 of our talented students, along with me will grace the stage, highlighting their hard work and dedication. I am incredibly proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see their passion shine through during this performance.

We are also delighted to collaborate with Performers Arts Education , a wonderful organization committed to promote a very warm and inclusive atmosphere for all artists. Their dedication to creating collaborative experiences aligns perfectly with our vision, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work together.

We eagerly anticipate this event and look forward to an unforgettable afternoon filled with dance and energy 😊😊

Green Chillies Entertainment’s Ishq Wala Love, a Broadway-style musical, was a true sensation over the weekend! 🥰🥰 Nruthu Aaloka is honored to have been a part of this amazing production.

Having attended rehearsals and witnessed some performances, I knew the show was going to be fantastic. In any show the lights and sounds always serve as the backbone and when you add a video wall to the mix, the output will be different and better than what we have seen in rehearsals. I expected a great outcome, but was completely blown away by what we experienced on Saturday.

The show exceeeded all expectations and delivered an experience that was truly magical ❤️❤️❤️Though I couldn’t attend in person, I enjoyed the show vicariously and could still appreciate its grandeur.

As the title Ishq Wala Love suggests, it was fascinating to see the different flavors of love from Bollywood carefully selected and curated for this show. Nabin K Das has an elegant and creative way of presenting the script, adding his unique touch to it. 👏🏻👏🏻

The variety showcased was outstanding spanning the entire gamut of love. Simple cheesy love, Friendly banter, Profound and intense passion, Magical infatuation, Jealousy and desire, Celebratory love, Obsession-driven love, Flirtatious and mischievous romance, Deep emotional and soulful love, Nostalgic love, Love filled with devotion, Youthful and innocent love, Conflicting love, Mysterious love with romantic intrigue are some that I could place the songs in.

It truly takes someone with a clear vision to achieve this. The ex*****on was flawless 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Nruthu Aaloka’s intermediate batch joined the GCE performers on stage for two songs, Kajra Mohabbatwala and Yeh Ishq and it was truly stunning. The entire team rocked it! Bhavesh Gala Neeti Gupte Ankhi Ganguly Rajesh

A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Exceptional Students 😍😍

I am immensely proud of Nruthu Aaloka's seniors, the A Team, who truly captured the essence of the 5 minute medley performance on the vibrant stage of Times Square in New York City for the Diwali at Times Square event ❤️❤️ Their high-energy, fast-paced medley showcased three different styles remaining authentic to each. It was a breathtaking sight that left everyone in awe ❤️❤️

Despite the rain, my students demonstrated unwavering dedication, captivating the audience and receiving thunderous applause at the end—a true testament to their hard work and talent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This unique experience will forever hold a special place in our hearts 🥰🥰 A huge thank you to the organizers of the Diwali At Times Square event for providing us with this incredible opportunity. Your support allowed our students to shine brightly ❤️❤️

Very happy and proud to be a part of Diwali at Times Square team’s 10th milestone celebrations. Nruthu Aaloka had the privilege of performing 2 medleys that not just gave a grand opening but had several jaws drop in the audience 😍😍😍 thank you for this wonderful opportunity and looking forward to to many more - Rain or Shine the dancers rocked the stage and enjoyed an unforgettable experience 😍😍😍
