The Backstop Softball Training Facility The Backstop is an indoor training facility where women of all ages come to learn and enhance their skills in softball. We also host clinics year round.

We teach positivity and sportsmanship, in an environment where girls from different teams come together, challenge their weaknesses and learn from each other's strengths. Our collegiate softball instructors coach and train physical softball skills, and more importantly, we support mental fitness by fostering a culture that encourages mental toughness, genuine sportsmanship and competitiveness. We

specialize in hitting and pitching training. We also use our space as a multi-use facility that offers top of the line training equipment, machines, technology and coaching staff to enhance the skill set of any softball player that walks through the door. The Backstop provides space for individual self training or one-on-one pupil-teacher training. Our space is also available to host small, medium and large class settings for players, coaches, teams and leagues to train and thrive.

February Vacation Clinics are live! We have a variety of great offerings for everyone. From our 1 Day Youth Clinic, to Advanced Pitching with Coach Emily and Coach Sen, to hosting KJaxx Sports Co. for her Slugfest Clinics, get off your couch and get ready to bring your game to the next level!

The Backstop hosts a number of softball clinics each year for players in the New England Area. Pitching clinics, hitting clinics, fielding skills clinics and more.

His results speak for themselves by developing 33 college commits just since 2020! We had him at the old building twice and are so excited to have him back this time to the new building!

"I teach hitters to organize and rotate powerfully around center mass.

The goal is simple-throw the barrel around center to match both the up and down parts of the zone.

We don’t chase the ball with the hands.

We hold the hands back as long as possible, let the body turn first, and sling the barrel late.

Once a hitter can do that, everything else becomes secondary.

If you don’t own this, the rest doesn’t matter."
