Below is a brief description of the program for both in-season and offseason athletes. In season:
The program is designed to help athletes with beginner/intermediate experience in strength and conditioning develop for their discipline. As an athlete progresses, the program design will change to accommodate their experience level. Emphasis is placed on key movements including Bench, Squat, Deadlif

t, Press, and Power Clean. Additional accessory and conditioning work will be individualized and tailored towards athletes' sports specific needs. For example, a pitcher's program would incorporate unilateral shoulder stability and strengthening exercises to develop the rotator cuff and surrounding muscles. Alternatively, an athlete requiring more explosive, reactionary development would be given a program that works unilateral leg development, and change of direction drills. Once an athlete has developed beyond the beginner level, the program will pivot so as to decrease the frequency of the major lifts and increases accessory work, allowing for continual athletic development. As the athlete's season approaches, there is greater emphasis placed on conditioning and peaking the athlete for maximal in season performance. In season: this program is designed for strength maintenance and recovery with the intent being to maximize in season performance. Thus, the program utilizes a low volume, moderate intensity approach to achieving this goal.

🔹Do you want to know 2 of the biggest tricks to helping your Middle School athletes?!🔹

1️⃣ Learning how to hinge properly. A lot of our new MS athletes come in, not knowing how to properly hinge, get into a neutral pelvic position and overall posture. To be honest they’re not alone! Anyone who is unfamiliar with this concept and untrained can struggle with this!
The hinge, is a STAPLE of our program and a precursor for many of our power movements!

2️⃣ Learning to have fun with training, you’ll see a lot of our athletes laugh, dance, and have a great relationship with the staff. Understanding that training isn’t their main “sport” and it’s here to make them better as an athlete is a huge indicator that our program is on the right path!
That being said these athletes will WORK HARD when it’s time to focus! It’s about balance 😉

Overall take away, your athletes should enjoy coming into train, some days will be better than others, but they should learn along the way and enjoy the process!
