The Wild Knox farm is just over 300 acres right on the edge of where Appalachia starts in southern Adams county Ohio. Approximately 5 miles from the Ohio River, the farm is two drainages with diverse terrain and a large agricultural field between them. There are old to***co drying barns built over a century ago with thick fence rows and hedges adjacent. Deep rocky creek bottoms, dense cedar thickets and agricultural fields. Briar thickets, oak flats with cuts and overgrowth pockets and overgrown pastures of native grasses. There are a lot of places to hide but birds do not have to fly far to find more cover once they flush. A truly unique northern quail estate nestled in some of the last remaining native quail populations left in Ohio.

Our birds are raised and sourced to remain alive in the wild as long as possible. Large flight pens, raised in native habitat. Although released immediately before our hunts begin, our goal is to release birds that have a higher than average survival rate in habitat that can support them with ample food and predator control. Quite frankly, we love native birds, especially quail and we want to be on the front line of bolstering the local population to see it grow instead of decline!
