Nick Chevy golf week 3:

The weather is not looking bad right now for week 3. Many of the local weathermen and even our own weather forecaster dino were calling for heavy rain today, but so far it is holding off and we may just get a quick little storm before tee off! Teams for week 3.

Week 3

It went off with a bang and the old saying “the cream rises to the top” rang true when GJK,Chris,Luke & Cory put in a dominating performance shooting 4 under which has a lot of local experts wondering…… has the game passed Harbo up???? In 2nd place Austin,John, Evan posted minus 3. Harbo came in 3rd which was not great considering he had stacked teammates Rick/kaminski!
Also we are putting an amber alert out there. Has anybody seen smiley or Dino??????please contact Tracey at pheasant ridge if anybody has heard from these 2?

WEEK 1 RECAP
Nick Chevy golf league started off with a bang as the commissioner had to do damage control with a player leaving the league the day before it started. The commissioner had to shuffle teams around late and you could tell it affected his play early on as his team finished 3rd at -2. Harbo, who usually starts out slow because it takes the ol fella a little while to get loose led his team to an easy victory at -6. We are checking the film to make sure that was a legit score. here are the final standings after week 1

GJK/Rick/Evan/Dogg -2
Takash brothers/Cory/Mike -2
Mookie/Luke/Marc/Lil Luke -1.

Hello friends! Welcome to this tradition, unlike any other, the start of the 2026 nick chevy golf league. I know the anticipation has had everybody on the edge of their seat and asking themselves who will I be teeing off with week 1. In keeping with tradition, week 1 will be family day! if you're related we're going to keep you together!

If possible the 3 man teams could tee off first so theyre not held up and the other groups fall in behind. Also if someone in your group can take a group photo so i can post pictures of the winning teams each week.

2026 GOLF LEAGUE PROJECTIONS ARE OUT!!!
Glenn "HARBO" Harbison returns as the 5 time golfer of the year and is the early favorite for 2026 but a strong group is pursuit! Could this be the year that someone passes up the aging Harbison? One of the players that has been closing the gap on Harbo is Austin, a long hitter who's game has improved over the past 2 seasons. The only thing holding him back is occasionally playing shots from out of bounds(lets follow the rules). Mookie is another strong contender who showed incredible fortitude in bouncing back from cancer, but unfortunately booze and the casino will probably still be his downfall! The return of "DIRT DOGG" Thomas is an intriguing one! There is speculation he received lessons from one of the top pga tour pro's last year while sitting out and is looking for some revenge in 26! The Takash brothers are back for another year, 1 is a great member of the league, shows up, competes at a high level, the other shows up when he wants and could be subject to a suspension this year if he keeps it up! All of the Koprivnikars are back this year and i could see a sleeper from this group as a contender for the title! Greg the best athlete in the league would be a serious threat to harbs title but he also has to serve as the commissioner and with several members of the league stretching the rules, his attention there has to be razor sharp. GOOD LUCK to all participants this year and keep checking back for the latest updates and standings.

2026 OFFICIAL GOLF LEAGUE RULES!!!
1. In the event of a tie. the rules will be the following.
-1st tiebreaker TOTAL score on par 3's if still tied
-2nd tiebreaker TOTAL score on par 5's if still tied
-3rd tiebreaker start at the hardest handicapped hole and continue hole by hole till we have a winner
2. If a team does not finish due to inclement weather, or darkness. all teams scores will only count for the holes the last team finished. example. if a team finishes on 7, all teams will only count their first 7 holes. tuff luck if you birdied 8 and 9, don't count them if you took a bogey.
3. On hole 16, the tee shot must make it through the tree line. no second shots will be hit from the right side of the trees.
4. If you are on a team with 3, only 3 shots are played, no extra shot
