“Why do I need a bit fitter?”

While being ridden, does your horse open their mouth? Chomp frantically at the bit? Stick their tongue out? Tilt their head to one side? Resist the bit? Have trouble engaging the hind end?

All of these can be signs of mouth discomfort from your bit. A bit fitter will work with your horse to find a bit that they are truly comfortable with. And while it may not instantly solve all your problems, the right bit will definitely open up the lines of communication between you and your horse to allow improvement.
