Mom loved to celebrate the holidays & dad was a saver of many things! What a fun treasure hunt getting ready for this sale. Sad to part with memories but hopeful they'll find great homes. Hi, my friends. Sharing this from my personal page bc wanted you to know that your prayers made a difference. My mom left us on Feb 12.

All praise & thanksgiving to God for the gift of my mom, the gifts He provided during and through her disease & suffering, and the gift of a beautiful death. Emily passed into the merciful & loving arms of Jesus last night around 10pm. Divine Mercy Chaplet prayed with Benedictine nuns' angelic voices in background (thanks Doreen Bussi Strzalka!) Blessed her with holy water & oil. Reminded mom of all the people who loved her & came to visit, sent cards, called - and all the people she didn't even know who were praying for her. Talked about her life, her challenges, and the blessing she was. Asked mom to pray for our family, friends, and world. Then told her it's finally time to go home to the place for which she was created & we would be joining her soon... that our Blessed Mother & the saints were praying for mom & would accompany her to Jesus who was eagerly waiting her arrival... that it was finally time to rest in the love, peace, & joy of God. Then she passed with no struggle... her breathing just slowed down until it was no more. It was perfect. God is good. Thank you everyone for your prayers. Please keep praying for her soul as God's love transforms her to eternal perfection. ❤

Dear friends, please pray for my mom, Emily, who was recently diagnosed with a fatal brain disease and is deteriorating rapidly. We ask the Lord to send His Holy Spirit to help her to know the love & peace of God during this time of suffering... that she may embrace Jesus' mercy,... and that she sees how much her family loves her & feels blessed to have the opportunity to care for her. Please also pray for her caretakers as we bring her home from the hospital - that God helps us discern each next step of her care and gives us the strength and wisdom to do what keeps her most comfortable. ❤Jesus I trust in you.❤
