WSW Sports Boosters We are a non-profit incorporated organization that works to enhance the educational and athletic programs at West Seneca West High School!

We are a non-profit incorporated organization that works with school administrators, teachers, parents and students to enhance the educational and athletic programs at West Seneca West High School. Through fund raising activities we provide funds for two major areas:
· Scholarships for seniors leaving WSW high School. All students (athletes or non-athletes) are eligible. The major requirem

ent for these scholarships is membership with the WSW Sports Boosters.

· Grants/mini-grants to applicants/requesters for the benefit of WSW High School programs. Our goal is to “benefit” as many students/athletes as possible with our funding and assistance. Giving assistance to teams rather than individuals is our goal!!! We support the Varsity W Club and GAA located at WSW High School. We will meet our goals by requesting assistance from the students, teachers, parents and administrators. We will use, as best as possible, student involvement that will assist the students in accomplishing their academic goals.

Hello everybody



Due to low memberships, shortage of volunteers for the boosters fundraisers, lack of support from administration, coaches, teachers and parents the boosters have been forced to rewrite Our Mission Statement and our by-laws. From this point on the boosters only fundraiser will be the West Seneca Community 5K Race. The boosters website will be updated soon.



The boosters will no longer be doing memberships, meat raffles, golf outings, lottery calendars, and November lotteries.



The boosters will still sponsor Students of Excellence and be awarding $10,000 in scholarships to the graduating seniors every year.



According to the new boosters by-laws we will no longer be having meetings. The boosters will discontinue mini-grants for the coaches and SectionVI Championship sweatshirts.



Due to these circumstances the boosters will not have the funds to purchase items for the school.



Sally and I would like to extend a huge thank you to the core group of people who were always there for us - no matter what! We couldn't have gone this long without you - you know who you are!



In closing the current and past board members are disappointed with the lack of support we have received the last few years. The boosters have no choice but to follow this new path.



Here are a few things that the school wouldn't have had if not for the boosters:

Over $150,000 iih scholarships

Over $80,000 in mini-grants

Baseball bleachers

Baseball dugouts

Volleyball Courts - which are no longer there

Matt Anderson Volleyball framed shirts

Football training

District championship banners hanging in the gym and swimming pool area

All the section VI track jackets/sweatshirts

$3,000 contribution to the football team so they could purchase rings (2017)

Students of Excellence

Weight room equipment

Climbing wall

It’s race day!! Walk up registration is from 4-6 at the shelter by the sprinkle pool at veterans park. Race starts at 6:30! Come early for a yoga stretch with Out of Mind yoga, pet a puppy with 7 ❤️s Maternity amd see Dr Kayla from Seneca Springs Wellness! Beer tent opens at 6! Support the Boosters!
