I’m a little late on posting a few of my Christmas projects because I had a few health issues the first couple months of 2026. Thankfully, I am happy to report I am doing so much better.

I am beyond grateful for each
and everyone of you that have chosen me, some more then once, to carry out your special visions to create keepsake memories of your loved ones.

I look forward to meeting many new special people and will welcome your beautuful stories and you sharing your memories with me.

Sometimes in life, you meet certain people that you just simply click with. I have been exstremly fortunate to meet many such people since opening my business. These last couple of months I have had the opportunity to work with this client in creating four lap quilts for her adult children from their baby garments. We had some fun conversations about our children and shared stories of the history behind all the baby garments she provided, as well as life conversations in general. It was both enjoyable and an emotional trip down memory lane with her. We collabored well together and I am pleased to say they turned out pretty special. Whether these quilts will be used as wall hangings by her children or as snuggling up baby blankets for future grandchildren, I hope they are ecstatic when they are presented with them.

When you devote your entire adult career to Harley Davidson, you most definitely have to collect all their t-shirts over the years. We ran out of room on the front so I incorporated 3 more on each of the backs of the quilts. (sorry no pics) What an amazing way to display them. So many memories to look back on.

I do LOVE a challenge and this was a super fun one. I had a client bring me a bag full of fabric and the start of a quilt from her mother. There was not a completed block in the pile so it was my job to figure out her intentions with the fabric I had to work with. It was like putting a puzzle together and not having a picture to look at. I had no pattern to follow, just a few pieces cut out and sewn together.
I’m not sure this is even close to what her mother had in mind but I hope she is pleased with the finished product.

I’ve had a very busy spring creating graduation quilts and memorabilia quilts for 7 very special clients. A few have been delivered and a few I’m waiting to pick up from the long arm quilter after she does her magic. Pictures will follow after graduations these next couple of weeks.
In the mean time, I’m excited to start a new set of quilts. I can’t wait to see what I come up with from all these precious baby garments. So many stories and memories to capture for these 3 siblings and Mom.
