It's opening race night! Bittersweet as always without Dad, but we have an exciting addition to the track this year! Jessica finally decided to make the jump and will be racing her pink and black six shooter! Carlie in the yellow and black and Marshall representing his team colors of black and blue #66 will be joining her in the same division. Mitchell is unfortunately sidelined with an injury and is anxiously awaiting his return to the hornet division in the #65 rocket. Marshall is running double duty tonight in a fresh, exciting *top secret* team themed #66 minivan!!!

Our family received one of the most precious awards at the race banquet for La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway last night. Pastor Andy selected us for his very last "Family of the Year". Everyone who knows us, knows our history, and in turn, our tragedy, that we have experienced at the speedway.

Throughout the many years the Rinartz family has raced at the track, we have felt the love and support of our friends, fans, and fellow racers. Last night was the epitome of all we do. We are humbled to have been recognized for our achievements and dedication over the decades.

Thank you, Pastor Andy! We took the award straight to Grandma Lynn after the banquet, and she will display it in her home for all to enjoy. We were all very emotional as the memories and tears flowed freely.

Grandpa Eddie, Dad, we love you and miss you so much. We wish you were here with us in person, but we know you are watching over us with pride.

Heat Race winners from the various four cylinder divisions across the region! This list is huge, at least 251 drivers recorded a heat race or semi feature win during the season. That is out of 506 preliminary events! If we missed you we apologize!

Please remember, simple stats never show the full story. Results are taken from website, speedhive, and racepass updates, some need to be entered manually. We apologize if there are errors. Spelling errors, disqualifications and lack of transponders are usually the main culprit. However, we feel confident that the results we are posting are pretty close. 🏁🏁🏁 It's Oktoberfest race weekend and 1/4 mile race night! Mitchell will be running in hornets and debuting a special Fest paint job! Keep your eye out for that #65! Carlie and Marshall will be competing with the 6-shooters. Carlie in her black and yellow throwback to our dad paint and Marshall in #66 blue and black!

As everyone knows, this is the week (almost to the day) we lost our dad at the Oktoberfest Race Weekend 7 years ago . Please keep our family in your thoughts as we navigate through the emotions and the races tonight.

Mitchell raced at Tomah Sparta Speedway 's Hobbyfest today and walked away from the pack in his heat for the win! He managed to keep the car in one piece during the feature. On to fest!
