Have you ever heard the term.... ”dryer than a popcorn fart”?
Well... this old Spaulding was dryer than a popcorn fart after a double feature!
Not really sure what was holding it together. The laces were as dry as I’ve seen and mostly disintegrated. This old mitt was just about ready to be retired.... and then the resurrection began....
Complete re-lace and a double dose of treatment/conditioner! Not sure the age of the glove but I do know the owner is sliding downhill fast toward 60!

I received a message Saturday night from Coach Dave Bartlett that he needed a repair done ASAP. The lace in the webbing on his West Rutland Varsity Baseball team’s catchers mitt kept breaking and they have a game in Poultney this afternoon!
He got it to me yesterday.... I relaced it last night.... treated it this morning!
PLAY BALL!
