We look forward to seeing everyone north of the border here in just a short 87 days, Things are still looking excellent locally for bird hatches with some more moisture expected mid next week. Every inch counts in today’s prairie eco systems. Crop yields were the best seen in years in 2025 and with any luck farmers and hunter alike will see similar results in their 2026 endeavors.

Still a couple options for Single or pairs of hunters in saskatchewan this September, The first week of November is also open for full parties of 4+

Spring snow continues to pound the local area around the lodge, this has definitely slowed down the snows and specks but warm temps on the way should have them trudging again this week. This should be fantastic for our local duck hatch and honker hatch so that’s definitely exciting for us, with any luck there should lots of mallards and pintail this fall.

November has been non existent historically for our area until the last 5 years, Now the first half of November offers some fantastic goose hunting for whites, specks, lessers and colored up mallards. It’s been so good we are opening up the first week of November to a few parties! So if late season dry field mallards and late season geese is your jam give us a shout!

Happy Easter hopefully you are all spending the day with loved ones and enjoying some nice sunshine for your egg hunts!

Update for the migration at the saskatchewan camp is that the white geese are pouring through despite yet another snow storm in the forecast with a little luck the snows and specks should get a good hatch in this summer. This snow is also a very good thing for our duck hatches and honker hatches that will be kicking off in mid-late July! If it holds The first week of september will be some lights out duck and goose hunting stretching into mid september when we will see the arrival of migrators from the tundra. All in all things are shaping up well and we look forward to hosting you and your hunting party this fall in saskatchewan!

Last Remaining dates to join us in saskatchewan this fall are September 6-8th and October 24th-27th.

We have been hearing great reports from the lodge saying they are getting hit with a heavy snow now with spring right around the corner, this means we should see some decent run off. Snow geese have already been seen in the area along with lots of lessers and honkers. They were early but hopefully this means another good white goose hatch with lots more birds yet to come.
