Just a reminder about our 3 on 3 tourney next Sunday March 1st. If you haven't signed up contact Jared at 417-293-3517 ASAP so we can fill out brackets and start on scheduling.

01/07/2026

Held our end-of-season banquet last night. Started with a bounce house obstacle course, co****le, and basketball. Then had some pizza, veggies, chips, cookies, and drinks. Then celebrated our athletes.

Coaches are PROUD of every single boy and his performance this season. These players were selected for individual special awards:

5th grade:

6th grade:

Our last outing was a success! 6th grade beat Willow Springs 24-14. That concludes our 5th & 6th grade season.

So proud of our improvement over this season. Every single boy grew one way or another. Looking forward to their Zizzer basketball future!

Records:
5th grade: 5-1
6th grade: 3-3

We will host our end-of-season banquet on Jan 6 (Tues) at 6:00PM. Location TBD. Everyone have a Merry Christmas!

Our 5th and 6th grade Zizzers have been busy b-balling! Last week, our 5th grade lost by 1 point to Thayer, while our 6th grade picked up a win over Dora. This week, our 5th grade grabbed 2 wins (over His Place Christian Academy and Willow Springs) while our 6th grade lost to Licking.

Season records:
5th grade: 5-1
6th grade: 2-3

This technically wraps up our season for 5th grade, but they’ll still be practicing this week to help our 6th grade prepare for ONE MORE GO against Willow Springs next Sat. Proud of our Zizzers!

Haven’t posted in a bit. Two Saturdays ago, our 6th grade team lost to Salem while our 5th grade team won over Dora. Then this last Saturday our 6th grade lost a hard-fought game to Fairview, and our 5th grade beat a much taller Licking team.

Team records as of Nov 25:
6th grade: 1-2
5th grade: 3-0

We’ve also had some injuries: both Liam and Elim broke their arms and will be out for the rest of the season. We are missing their contributions for sure!

Also, this past Saturday (Nov 22) we took a mix of our 5th and 6th grade teams to a tournament in Strafford. Against some really good talent, we went 2-2, taking 3rd for the day. Our Zizzers have been playing GREAT b-ball. Proud of them!
