5th race in the books. Ran a lucky 28.316 which took 4.5 seconds off our previous time. We made it out of the 30 seconds club 👏🏼 we are still slow but it’s getting better. I owe this horse every thing. 🫶🏻

We ALMOST loped the whole pattern (so close)!
We broke out of the 30 second club with the lucky number 28.316! 4.5 seconds off our last time. She worked HARD for me and took care of me. Coming home from 3rd definitely the fastest I’ve rode her and the hardest. She still gave what I asked for even though she was tired.

I am so damn proud of this ol gal. She truly knows how to take care of me and make me proud. And the people who owned her before us didn’t feed her properly and were starving her can go to 🔥 because this horse may just be an old girl but she is MY BEST GIRL and I’d do anything for her. She gives me everything I ask for. I am so lucky to have a horse like this teach me.

Our fourth race in the books and we concluded the spring barrel series at 4 rocks. It wasn’t the best run but we got faster and we’re both learning. Video credit to Jeremy

Tuesday night: Mistakes were made. One being the tank and Jean combo I chose 🤣 but seriously every mistake was my fault. But just look at my girl taking care of me and she’s doing so good. I’m proud 🥹 I’ll post Jeremy ‘s video in real time soon!

Beyond proud of this girl. I just need to trust her more because she’s getting this and doing so much better than I thought. Tonight we ran a slow 32.87. Better than our previous run at 33.486. The run before that was over 10 seconds slower than that run. We’re making progress and she’s teaching me so much. Either way I’m over the moon with what we’re doing. Never in a million years did I think I’d get a horse and then attempting to learn barrel racing stuff on top of it is WILD. Learning how to ride in my 30s is crazy but I love it. Peep my best girl Miss.Dolly
