HEAD COACH & TEAM DIRECTOR MEETING TODAY AT 11:00 AM. Meet under the Big Red Tent at England Idlewild
Teams are welcome to set up their pit zone area and drop gear at England Idlewild BEFORE 1:00 PM (Weather is expected to get worse at that time. Please don’t set up if there is lightning; weather guidelines apply at all times)

TOMORROW, Sunday, September 13
• We WILL be racing.
• We will have a race plan that includes pre-riding the course.

Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League race one is in the books! Your Mustangs came away with 8 podiums and a lot of strong rides! The course was a tough first outing and the Mustangs left it all on the trail!

Mustang One is locked and loaded! The first race of the season will take us to Hammer Down at Highlander! Our kiddos have been working hard and are ready for an amazing race weekend playing bikes!! Let’s do this Mustangs!! 🎉🙌🏼🚵🏻🐴

It’s here!!! It’s finally here!!! The season is officially kicking off! We are STOKED!! Can’t wait for all our riders to realize how amazing they are and how hard they have worked!

Some good tips to remember for our parents and coaches! Our biggest desire is that we create an atmosphere where our riders feel encouraged and learn to love cycling!

This is what we're about at KY NICA. 🚵‍♀️💙

Not perfect finishes. Not pressure at the start line. Just kids building grit, confidence, and a genuine love for the ride, with parents standing behind them the whole way.

Our coaches see it every practice: riders who feel free to make their own calls on the trail tend to come back stronger, happier, and hungrier for the next adventure. That freedom starts at home, with the way we talk to our riders before a race, after a rough lap, and everywhere in between.

So here's a friendly reminder for the parents in our community: encourage loudly, trust your rider's process, and let the coaches coach. That combination is what makes a program like ours feel like family instead of a competition.

Save this list for your next race weekend. It's a good one to revisit all season long.

Several of our ladies attended GRiT camp this summer and learned some valuable skills along with making new friends and having lots of FUN!

MTB season is in full swing and we are having fun at every practice! New and returning riders are learning about bike maintenance and trail skills. The stoke level is high for the season ahead! Let’s go Stangs!!

Several of our Mustang riders and coaches headed to the this weekend and had a great time! Miles and smiles was the name of the game with perfect weather and prime gravel riding!

Big congrats to everyone for finishing and to Gavin, Maddox and Wyatt for finding a spot on the podium!!
