Need to send a shout out to Steve Katz of for answering the phone Tuesday morning a 4 a.m.! Turns out he was in Africa so it was the middle of the day there. We had an electrical issue when i went to start the boat. Steve walked me through getting the situation taken care of and we were able to go fishing and boat this blue marlin! Always great to have help when you're in a jam! Thanks again Steve!

Always fun fishing the Poor Girls Tournament and it is for such a great cause! The girls did a great job today going 3 for 4 on white marlin. Not quite enough to make the leader board but we were in the hunt. Back at it next week for the Mid Atlantic.

Little bit of a slow day yesterday for Jeff Crampton and his crew. We went 1 for 3 on white marlin and caught a dolphin. We did see the tunas airing out early but they were uncooperative. Pretty awesome weekend fishing the Ocean City Tuna Tournament! We caught 1000 pounds of tuna in two days. Needed to spread it out a little better over the two days, but still great fishing. Nice surprise at the end! We won two on the board calcuttas plus won the $1000 Hooked On OC Calcutta for our dolphin! Always a win to collect a check! Solid first day of the Ocean City Tuna Tournament! Caught 2 white marlin and 13 really nice yellowfins. Sitting in second place for the stringer division after day 1. Got some work to do tomorrow.
