Self-CARE is NOT Self-ISH.

It is essential. Don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking that taking care of yourself is a disservice to anyone else, in any way.

This is the view from backstage at a theater.

This is also your personal view of your own life.

When you feel like you are the only one whose life is messy, complicated, or a work in progress, remember this:

We only see each other's stages.

The stage is just a small part of the whole theater, with a polished floor, ideal lighting, perfect scenery, an audio system that controls every sound that reaches the audience, and a gorgeous curtain to hide it all, when we have to change scenes.

Everyone has a backstage... unique to their own life show.
