So... Happy Sunday! I told you guys that I would share info and stories about my instructor and good friend, Danny Dring Ldma. I don't have pictures from 26 years ago, but both or these gentlemen where there (Bill "Superfoot " Wallace on my left).

I met Danny at Karate College around 26 years ago.
My first memory of him is watching him break an escrima stick across his shin. No flinch, no grimace... just like watching an "As seen on TV" ad for shin conditioning.
My second memory is from the same weekend. During lunch, I watched him black pepper coat a pile of cottage cheese. "It's a good way to get my protein, but this is the only way I can eat it."

This week, we will be turning back the hands of time and starting from day 1! We will be covering/reviewing our stance, footwork and the jab/cross combination. If you aren't reviewing your fundamentals, then I promise there are holes in you training!

Also, there will be no class September 7th. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!

I am so proud of both of these young men. I couldn't be happier with their performances. The compliments from fellow fighters, fans and coaches were overwhelming.

Yahweh has truly blessed me with 2 warriors who help me to be a better leader. I am grateful for every lesson learned from every battle fought.

Summer break is almost over. School starts in a week. Look no further f you are looking to get your athlete started on a new hobby, learn a new skill, learn to defend themselves, and build discipline!

We had a great class tonight. Repetition is the key. From the day ones to the first day, everyone got work. As a coach, it's such a great feeling to see the drills making sense while sparring!
