Today was our Spring Black Belt Test. Congratulations to Vincent Thornton, Hailey Kapral and Jack Spampinato 1st Dan 🥋 Harold Smith, Michael Pitiris and Joe Maasin 2nd Dan 🥋 and Maria Harrison 3rd Dan 🥋 Dedication, indomitable spirit and mental and physical toughness lives in all these graduates. I’m honored to be the head of PVMA and be surrounded by such wonderful people. A big shout out to Mr Brand and Mr Castelle for carrying the torch for me. They are dedicated instructors and my partners that care about the well being and the great product we put out. Also a special thanks to Sarah Filipowicz who is a hard working wonderful instructor. Great job today showing off your skills today!! Proud of all these great people ❤️

This has been a busy week at PVMA. Our monthly belt test was smaller in numbers due to a Band Concert at the HS. They will be able to do a makeup test on Monday @ 7pm in classroom #2 But we have our Spring Black Belt Test on Saturday which will be an exciting event. Good luck to our students who trained so hard for this test!! 🥋

April’s monthly belt test was a big success!!
I’m always looking for improvement in our students. These kids and adults worked their tails off moving one step closer to Black Belt. I’m a hard instructor and expect to get their best effort ALWAYS!! That’s how you make it to Black Belt at PVMA. No free passes or participation trophies here. Sweat, desire, spirit and mental/physical toughness are measured @ PVMA. CONGRATS to all who tested 🥋

Happy 9 year Anniversary to PVMA in West Milford!!
We started in a small one room 1100 sq ft location in Bearfort Shopping Village to our bigger and 2 classroom location @ Bearfort!!
It’s been a fun and successful ride. And there is much more to come!! We have amazing staff and students who have made this possible!!
I’ve been a martial arts school owner since 1987…..that started in Northvale, NJ!! The people that I’ve trained and have been part of my martial arts career are all extended family and have made this all worthwhile ❤️
