Really been hammering down on this car to get it ready for this upcoming weekend. Parts didn't come in til late last week and the boys football game got pushed to sat afternoon which is why we missed this weekend. But Joey will be piloting this weekend and this will be our last race for the year. The championship night #2 wasn't an original date on the schedule and his 16th party has already been planned. So we're gonna try our best to give it hell even if it took all season lol.

🏁 Jennerstown Speedway Complex LLC Recap 🏁

Saturday night we had the opportunity to go run the Jennerstown Speedway 101 lapper and we have been slowly making progress on this car trying to get it to go in the right direction. We missed Friday night/Saturday morning practices due to football games. So we only had the last hour practice to try and get it right. Overall the car was pretty good, it was good in, front snug in center and front snug off. So we just kept on hammering away making adjustments but when I drove harder and faster the reversed back to the same handling. Qualifying came around and I pulled a 19.62 out of the bag which I was shocked bc my best times all season were like high 19s low 20s. So we qualified 20th out of 22. We get ready to go green and as we picked up speed unfortunately the car infront of me missed a shift and I ended up rear-ending her causing significant cosmetic damage to the front end. I came in amd the crew tried to get it taped down as best as they could because i barely got a lap to try and fix it b4 they threw the 1 to go so the hood wasnt completely secured. Therefore on the restart coming off of turn 2 my hood flew up so hard it basically turned it inside out lol. So I came in again and just asked them to take it off and tape up whatever cracks they could. 3rd try at the restart we finally went and begin the race. The car felt pretty decent getting in but after some laps the car started to get tight across the center and front snug off. It was progressive but pretty consistent. I did go a lap down. I did make a pass and ran down the next group of cars in the back. The next caution the flew was for the 5 car of RJ Dallape so I came in to get an adjustment. Under the 4th restart the car was pretty decent and I began to start setting up to make some passes back we did go a lap down and then i was informed I did get the Lucky Dog which put me back on the lead lap. Then the halfway point came and we threw the car on the battery charger, made some more adjustments, refueled the car and went back out to finish the last leg of the race. Under the start everything went fine and car started out well again. Once tires came back in amd started driving harder the car still did the same thing and reverted back to tight across center and nose tight off. If I drove in really hard the car became tight in as well. Then I caught up to the 711 car and she was side by side with the 0 car chopping across his nose but he was able to get by. Then it was my turn to battle for position and I got my nose under her and she came down across my nose and I stayed in it but the contact must've been so light bc i didn't feel it but she spun across my nose. So it didn't cause anymore damage to me and she didn't hit anything. So we lined up to restart again and then my night ended because the car DIED!!! Like dead as a door nail DEAD!!! We dont run an alternator so thats on us so our night ended and yes i was very upset but so thankful to have had the opportunity and we learned alot. Maybe we'll try again next year. The damage is mostly cos

Hmmmmm what do you all think happened Saturday night on the start?

Well race fans we are sitting this one out tonight. After weeks of frustration and still can't figure out what is vibrating on the car under power, it was decided to just go over the whole car for some much needed TLC. Through some many experienced minds and advice. We checked the drive shaft and all its parts and it checks out fine. We moved onto the rack in front and did find the hyms were going bad so we have replaced them, we redid all front bearings and we think the front floats have alittle too much play (indications of going bad) which they will be replaced whenever they come in. The LF caliber may or may not be hanging up but were gonna leave it for now and keep an eye out. We discovered its possible we haven't been running the rear end totally full with gear oil which leads us to the possibility the springs and locker could be going bad also. So we have refilled it completely and see if thay makes a difference. This vibration is only under power so if it truly is rear end we will try and fix those b4 the 150. We wanna thank our sponsors and fans for sticking it out with us as we are still trying to figure out this beast but its hard to drive the car when it is shaking so bad you can't see straight lol. You definitely can't give your all when the car behaves this way. So here's to still stomping forward and progressing.
