LeTroupe We are Le Troupe! Le Troupe is comprised of both youth and adult aerialists who travel the US to compete in our sport.

Our goals are to get stronger, both physically and mentally!

No choreography. No rehearsed counts. No knowing exactly what comes next. Just an apparatus, music, and a chance to create.

Improv might be one of my favorite categories to watch because it asks something completely different of an aerialist. You can have all the tricks in the world, but can you listen? Can you make choices in the moment? Can you recover when something doesn’t go exactly as planned? Can you make us believe it was supposed to happen that way?

That is artistry. And watching our Le Troupe athletes step onto the Nationals stage and TRUST themselves was such a beautiful way to close out these recaps. We spend so much time teaching skills, cleaning routines, fixing toes, counting beats and preparing every detail. Improv strips all of that away and asks one question:

What kind of artist are you when no one tells you what to do?

Turns out, ours have a whole lot to say. ❤️🖤

And with that… our Nationals recap series is officially complete. What a season. What a team. What a way to finish. 🏆

Next in our Nationals recap: ALL STAR. ⭐️

There’s something different about watching an athlete reach this level. The tricks are bigger. The expectations are higher. The details matter more. But what I love most about All Star has very little to do with difficulty.

It’s watching athletes learn how to perform, not just execute.
How to make a pause matter. How to trust the quiet parts. How to stop rushing to the next trick and let the audience actually see them. How to take everything they’ve trained for and turn it into something that feels entirely their own.

These routines didn’t happen overnight. They were built in tiny pieces, changed a hundred times, practiced when they felt incredible and practiced when absolutely nothing was working. And then they walked onto the Nationals floor and made them theirs.

Some of these All Stars competed Thursday through Saturday because of scheduling, even though the official All Star day was Sunday. Different days. Different apparatuses. Very different artists. Same thing I felt watching every single one of them:

We’ve watched the countdown. We’ve packed the uniforms. We’ve crossed the ocean. And now… we’re HERE.

Cirque Athletics is incredibly proud to be representing Team USA alongside athletes and studios from across the country as we take the world stage in Aruba. ❤️🤍💙

The work is done. The flights are flown. Now it’s time to compete.

Next up in the Nationals recap… ENSEMBLES. ❤️

There is just something about watching these routines come together. Ensembles are hard. You’re taking a bunch of completely different athletes, different strengths, different personalities, different ways of moving, and asking them to make ONE thing work. And somehow… they do.

These routines took a lot of practice, a lot of counting, a lot of “do it again,” a lot of changing things that weren’t working, and probably a little yelling from me somewhere in there 😂 But then you get these moments. The timing hits. Someone hits something exactly where they’re supposed to. They look at each other and KNOW what comes next. And suddenly all those individual athletes look like one team.

I loved watching our ensembles at Nationals. I loved watching them rely on each other, adjust for each other, and genuinely enjoy being on that floor together.

Solos show me how much an athlete has grown. Ensembles show me how much we have grown. And I’m pretty dang proud of this team. ❤️

The Nationals Recap Begins!!

I sat down to put together one post that would recap Nationals. About 20 minutes in, I realized...there was absolutely no way one post was going to do it justice.

So, I owe you an apology for the delay. ❤️

Over the next week, I’m going to share the moments that made this trip so special. The medals. The routines. The behind-the-scenes laughs. The lessons. The victories that happened on stage, and the ones that happened long before anyone walked into the spotlight.

As I’ve gone back through the photos and videos, I’ve found myself stopping on almost every one. It’s hard to explain what it’s like to be the head coach of this team.

Every athlete is completely different. Different strengths. Different fears. Different ways they learn. Different personalities. My job isn’t to make them all the same. It’s to discover what makes each of them extraordinary, help them believe it too, and somehow weave all of those individual stories into one team. And somehow...it works.

This season reminded me that great teams aren’t built by talent alone. They’re built by people who choose to keep showing up. The ones who stay through the hard conversations, frustrating practices, missed skills, sore hands, disappointments, and setbacks. The athletes and families who trust the process, even when the finish line isn’t in sight yet.

To every athlete, parent, coach, volunteer, and family member who chose to take that journey with us, thank you. You trusted us with something incredibly important, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

I truly have the best seat in the house.
