Big Blue,
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the news of the unexpected passing of Coach Newsome, an assistant coach with our 9U football team.
While Coach Newsome wore the Big Blue colors as a coach and supporter, he was so much more than that. He was a beloved husband, a devoted father, and a volunteer.
Three of his young children are part of our WMYFCA family, making this loss especially heartbreaking for our entire community.
Coach Newsome gave his time, his energy, and his heart to our kids. He was Big Blue all the way!
Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with the Newsome family during this incredibly difficult time. We pray for strength, comfort, and peace for his wife, his children, and all those who loved him.
Once Big Blue, always Big Blue. 💙
