My heart is still smiling from an absolutely beautiful weekend with a bunch of my Forrest Yoga family. Very very grateful for Jose and Ana and the whole team this weekend. I’ve assisted my dear teachers Ana Forrest Yoga and Jose Calarco many times and it’s always a pleasure but this weekend felt extra precious. A number of my dear students came to practice and it was so heart warming to watch people who had only met through their tiny zoom room boxes meet in person for the first time. (Special big shout out to Tasia Tasia Juckett and Grace Lam for our lovely 5am wake ups and fun car rides). Watching beautiful humans so close to my heart connect with each other was simply the best. I loved just sitting back at our group lunches and watching you all get to know each other. 🥹

The assisting team worked together so beautifully and I’m so grateful to get to play asana with my dear friend Alison Alison Elizabeth Hammond and to make new connections with dear Kelliann Reginato and Danielle Kelleher 🫶🏼 Thank you for such a kind, warm welcome to Santa Rosa. I felt so included even though it was my first time there with you all. 🫂

Looking forward to many many more years of being on this yoga path together. 🤍🤸🏽✨

I feel so lucky, I somehow got to practice with twice in one year. 💫

Thank you Kino for your guidance and confident, caring assists. I learned a lot in just a few classes with you this week and you believing in me means a lot. You talk about how your teachers believed in you even when you didn’t believe in yourself and I feel that’s the same energy you exude when you teach- a belief that we can all do anything if we try. It’s inspiring. 🫶🏼🫂

Except for a few days in Panama, the last few months have been all about practice for me. Yes asana, but much more underneath and inside and around the asana. I love my quiet early mornings, waking up before the sun to practice. I am grateful.

People sometimes talk about practice as a burden but I just don’t see it that way. I am constantly falling in love with my movement and yoga practice and just falling in love with it over and over again. Practice doesn’t have to be a burden. It is truly a gift.
