We are grateful for the more than 2,200 individuals who invested their time in answering the 2022 Strategic Ministry Planning Survey. As promised, we are sharing the complete results from the 2022 survey by visiting faithlafayette.org/results22

They are available for download to your computer as PDFs (portable document format). Simply click on any of the files and you will be prompted to download it onto your personal workstation.

The 2022 survey is not an end unto itself. It is our desire, that it will prompt church and community individuals to offer suggestions for initiatives we may consider undertaking in the coming three years.

On the results web page is a button that will allow you to provide your suggested initiatives for Faith to consider as part of our 2023-25 Strategic Plan. We continue to value your opinion as we make plans to effectively use our resources to address pressing community needs.

Faith West Community Picnic
May 7, 2021 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm

Come and join us at Faith West Community Center for our annual Community Picnic. There will be free food, inflatable bounce houses, music, yard games, as well as other activities! The event will be from 6:00pm – 8:30pm on May 7th in the parking lot behind Faith West. Bring your family and friends! We hope to see you there!

NEW REVISED hours STARTING 11/23:

Monday – Friday mornings 8am-Noon
No evening hours

Age range:

No children under the age of 12 months or older than 6th grade

What has changed?

• Fitness Childcare is currently offered ONLY at our Faith West location. This is not available at Faith East or the Northend Community Centers.
• Masks are required for entrance into the Community Center for all, ages 6 and up.
• Children will now be checked in at the front desk instead of the sign-in sheet in the room. This is so we have a record for contact tracing and documenting the start times of each member.
o We encourage you to pre-register your child(ren), if you are thinking of coming back to work out.
o Please call us to pre-register your child(ren) at 765-449-3750 or email [email protected]; otherwise, please plan to take a few extra minutes at check-in for us to get them in the system.
• Because of the size of our childcare room, we are limiting the number of children to 5. So no more than 5 children at a time. (If you have been blessed with more than 5 children, of course we will make an exception for that!)
o This is all new to us as well...so please bear with us as we figure out the best way to serve you and your family.
o At this time, it will be first come-first served. Please feel free to call us to see if we are at the limit before you come out.
• We will be taking the temperature of all children being dropped off.
o If they have a temperature of 100 degrees or above, they will not be permitted to stay. (You may want to check their temperature before you come out; this may save you time and trouble.)
• When you check in, we will be asking if the child has been sick (runny/congested nose, fever, cough, rash, diarrhea, vomiting) or has been around anyone who has been sick in the last 24 hours.
o If the child has had a fever, they must be fever-free without the use of medication (i.e. Tylenol, Ibuprofen) for 24 hours before coming into the room.
o If you answer “yes” to either question, then they will not be permitted to stay.
• We will ask you to help the child(ren) rub sanitizer into their hands.
• Children may no longer bring in personal toys/blankets of any kind.
• Children may no longer eat/drink while under our care and supervision.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: FACE MASKS NOW REQUIRED FOR ENTRANCE TO FAITH WEST COMMUNITY CENTER. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Dear Faith West Community Center Member,

On July 13, 2020 the Mayor of West Lafayette issued an executive order that requires masks to be worn in public; this includes the Faith West Community Center. This means that masks are required upon entry to the facility and when a patron is in transit to the fitness center. Masks, at this time, are not required when working out.

Thank you for your compliance in this matter. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know.
