MICHIGAN THUMPS ARIZONA: To me, Michigan and Arizona were the two best teams in the country all season. They both beat the crap of a lot of good teams. But Michigan was the far better team Saturday at the Final Four. My story, live from Indianapolis.

Michigan and Arizona have been the two best teams in college basketball all season, but when they collided in the Final Four on Saturday night, it was all Michigan. The Wolverines won 91-73 and will play Connecticut for a title on Monday night.

IOWA'S MARCH MADNESS: I wanted some Madness in my last March go-round, and I got it on Sunday night in Tampa when Iowa upset No. 1 seed and defending national champion Florida. It was a hell of a game, and a hell of a finish. Saw glad I saw it. The NCAA Tournament never disappoints. Here's my story, live from Tampa.

Defending champion Florida got beat on a last-second shot by Iowa on Sunday, and now they're out of the tournament. Coach Todd Golden tried to downplay what went wrong on the final play, and he's not wrong. They weren't good enough to win all day, and made too many mistakes on an unexpected day.

MY TWO CENTS: Forty-six years after my first NCAA Tournament, I now embark on my final tournament, starting with a short drive from my Florida home to Tampa and ending with a Final Four back in my home state of Indiana. MICHIGAN STATE BEATS PURDUE: It's not easy winning at Mackey Arena, and no one knows that better than Michigan State coach Tom Izzo. He had lost seven games in a row at Purdue dating back to 2014, but pulled out a huge 76-74 win on Thursday night against the Boilermakers. Braden Smith hit 1,000 career assists in the loss.
