We are excited to announce that September marks the beginning of a new era. We are launching a brand new CrossFit affiliate. We will open the doors to Marble City CrossFit () next month! We are eager to deliver a service that we have dedicated more than ten years to and collectively possess more than 10,000 hours of coaching experience. Our passion behind building a community is embedded with humility, hunger, and happiness. These three words will be echoed throughout the walls of 412 Erin Drive as they serve as the cornerstone of our program.

Our family is so thankful to have received such amazing support thus far and we are thrilled for this next chapter in all of our lives. Now let’s get to work!

Through next Thursday August 31 our schedule will remain the same. The gym will be CLOSED Friday September 1- Monday September 4th for updates and will re-open as Marble City CrossFit on Tuesday September 5th with the updated class schedule. Follow for updates!

Next week - Monday through Thursday all protein and drinks will be 50% off. Stock up or try something new!

Congrats to our 6am founders!!!

Names: Rachel Chapman and Jarrod Chapman

Occupations: R: Construction and Contract Administration Manager; J: Mechanical Engineer

Person you're most inspired by? R: Dolly Parton; J:Jerry Chapman (my dad)

Last book you read? R: The last one I listened to was One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle. It was basically a love letter to Positano and now I'm dying to visit :D J: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr  

Favorite movie? R: The Family Stone; J: Elf

How long have you been doing CrossFit? October 2015

What was your sport and fitness background prior to doing CrossFit? R: Failed miserably at fast pitch softball in my pre-teens. I started trail running and lifting weights in 2012 and continued until starting CrossFit in 2015. J: Trail running and mountain biking

How has CrossFit positively impacted your life? R: I love starting my day with a tough challenge, both mentally and physically. It makes the rest of the day's challenges seem less daunting after surviving a tough workout first thing in the morning. I've also noticed throughout the years how often the functional fitness movements we learn in CrossFit prepare us for moving correctly and safely in our daily lives. J: I'm more fit now than when I started.

What is your favorite CrossFit movement? R: Gymnastics are cool. Barbell movements are less cool. J: Pull-ups

What is your favorite Benchmark/Hero WOD? R: Annie; J: Grace

What advice would you give yourself if you could go back to your first month of CrossFIt? R: Just keep practicing your double unders. You will eventually get them!! J: You'll never not be sore.

What are your health and fitness goals? R: I believe in the move it or lose it philosophy so physical activity and fitness are daily and lifetime goals. J: To not look like the Planters' Peanut guy. 

What are your other interests and hobbies? R: Baking, traveling, backpacking, hiking, skiing and eating; J: Camping, hiking, motorcycles, mountain biking, snowboarding, Ober Mountain Ski Patrol and Landcruising
