💙🏊‍♀️ Senior Spotlight: Addi 🏊‍♀️💙

Addi may have joined swim for the first time this year, but she made history in a big way. She was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay that qualified for regionals — marking the first time in ACHS swim history that we made regionals as a team. What an incredible way to be part of the program!

Her favorite part of swimming was making new friends and stepping outside her comfort zone to try something new. What started as something nerve-racking quickly became one of her favorite experiences.

Addi shared that her biggest challenge was the nerves that came with trying something unfamiliar. But she pushed through — and that courage paid off in growth, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

After graduation, Addi plans to attend Appalachian State University and major in Marketing while double minoring in Finance and Organizational Leadership.

We’re so proud of you, Addi — thank you for taking the leap and leaving your mark on ACHS swim history! 💙

💙🏊‍♂️ Senior Spotlight: Felice 🏊‍♂️💙

Felice leaves his mark on the program as our school record holder in backstroke with an incredible 1:35.01! He also dropped an impressive 20 seconds in his 50-yard freestyle over his career — a true testament to his hard work and dedication.

Some of Felice’s favorite memories come from the moments outside the pool — after-practice hangouts at Bojangles and the bus rides home from swim meets. Those team moments are what made the seasons unforgettable.

His biggest challenge was overcoming the nervousness he felt during his first year. Not knowing what to expect, he stepped out of his comfort zone — and ended up loving the sport. The encouragement and inspiration from his teammates kept him coming back each year and motivated him to show up and give his best at every practice.

After graduation, Felice plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in Biological or Chemical Engineering — no doubt he’ll approach that challenge with the same determination he showed in the pool.

His message to everyone:
“Don’t stop kicking — in the pool or in life.” 🏊‍♂️💙

We’re proud of you, Felice. Once a swimmer, always a swimmer. 💙
