We had 9 divers from the club dive the USS Ohio in Green Port today. It was a beautiful day with the water temperature of 71 degrees.

For anyone that’s interested Barry Lipsky, John Bricket Gus Bricker and Billy Gambril will be feature on Season 10 Ep 6 of Expedition Unknown tomorrow night June 29th 8pm on Discovery Channel. The Long Island crew will help host Josh Gates search for Dutch Shultz hidden treasure.

It is with great sadness that I have to report that long time club member and my good friend Kevin Dorman has passed away from complications from cardiac arrest yesterday. Kevin will always be remembered as the originator of our annual “Death by Diving “ event . Kevin and late club member Bobby Shea started DBD shortly after the club formed paying for the lobster dinner themselfs for those who completed the dives. Kevin is survived by his wife Gina, daughter Amanda and sons Patrick and Steve. Please remember them in your prays. As soon as I have information about arrangements I will post them.
