The Scott STB. Built for archers who refuse to settle for "almost the right fit." πŸ‘‡

βœ… Two sizes, one standard
The STB-1 is built for smaller hands. The STB-2 is sized for archers who prefer a larger grip. β†’ Same engineering, same performance, different hand.

βœ… Fully customizable feel
Adjustable travel, adjustable tension, and adjustable thumb button positioning β€” all in one release. β†’ Dial in the exact break you want without compromise.

βœ… 3 and 4 finger extensions with adjustable angles
Most thumb releases ask you to adapt to them. The STB adapts to you. β†’ Find the finger configuration and angle that actually feels natural at full draw.

βœ… Open auto-return hook + double sear trigger
Smooth, fast connection to the string and a clean, consistent break every shot. β†’ Performance that holds up rep after rep.

The STB-1 and STB-2 represent everything Scott stands for β€” feel, consistency, and a release built around the archer, not the spec sheet. 🏹

The release is where every clean shot starts, but it's not where it ends. A controlled break, a relaxed bow arm, and following through after the arrow leaves the string β€” that's the full picture. 🏹

The most important thing about tuning a thumb release: it should fire as a result of your shot, not the cause of it.

Set the trigger sensitivity light enough that back tension drives the break, then let your thumb just contact the button without pressing. 🏹

No notifications, no group chats, no signal. Just the hunt, the sounds of the outdoors, and a post-hunt quiet we all love. This is the part nobody can ever take from you. 🏹

Every Scott shooter has the one they keep coming back to. We're curios as to which one that is for you, and what specific details makes you trust it?

Who else is looking forward to the fall season?

It’s probably not your bow, and it’s definitely not bad luck. Most accuracy issues come down to small inconsistencies that add up fast. Clean these up, and you’ll see a difference almost immediately. ↓

βœ… Check Your Grip
You’re likely torquing the bow without realizing it. Relax your hand and let the grip sit naturally in your palm. Consistency here makes a huge difference.

βœ… Fix Your Anchor Point
If your anchor changes, your shot changes. Same spot on your face every single time: this is one of the biggest accuracy killers.

πŸ›‘ Stop Punching the Trigger
Target panic will open your groups fast. Focus on a slow, controlled ex*****on and let the shot break instead of forcing it.

Your release isn't broken or perfect, it's set somewhere on a spectrum. Where you live on that spectrum changes everything about how your shot breaks. πŸ‘‡

βœ… Hot trigger
Light pull weight, breaks fast, minimal pressure to set off. β†’ Feels effortless. But if you have any tendency to punch the trigger, your shot is about to inherit every habit you've worked to fix.

βœ… Cold trigger
Heavier pull weight, slower break, real intention required to set it off. β†’ More forgiving for archers still working on ex*****on. Set it too heavy and you'll start fighting it instead of trusting it.

βœ… At the range
Hot: fast shots, but every flinch shows up in your group. β†’ Cold: slower shot process, easier to feel back tension, but you can stall at full draw if it's overcooked.

βœ… At the moment of truth
Hot trigger can fire before your shot is ready. Cold trigger waits for you. β†’ The right setting is the one that breaks exactly when YOU decide.

You want to pick the setting that breaks exactly when you decide to break it, even if that means a few extra range sessions to dial it in. We've but our releases around that kind of fine adjustability, because we wanted to make finding that setting easy and possible.

If you've ever struggled to get a release to break the same way twice, you already understand why the Ghost has the reputation it does. Index releases live or die on consistency, and Scott has spent decades figuring out exactly what makes a trigger break clean, hold up, and feel right at full draw. The Ghost is what happens when all of that work goes into a single release. Quiet, repeatable, and built to make a target look exactly like this one.

A true surprise release starts with movement from your back, not your finger.

Think: Pull through the shot, not pull the trigger.
Engage: Your shoulder blades and let that tension fire the release.
Surprise: Your finger should just be along for the ride, not the driver.

πŸ‘‰ If your finger is doing the work, you’ll always fight target panic.
Most shooters run their trigger way too cold, which causes punching.

Tighten it so there’s minimal travel
You should feel like it’s almost going off when anchored
This forces a slow squeeze instead of a jab

πŸ‘‰ A β€œhot” trigger + back tension = clean, repeatable breaks.

our pin is never perfectly still β€” and that’s okay.

Accept the natural float around the target
Keep pulling and increasing tension through the float
The shot should break inside your movement, not after you β€œfreeze” it

πŸ‘‰ Trying to time the perfect moment = trigger punch every time.
