I don’t train my glutes and legs 3 times a week just for appearance, I’m training for the life I want to keep living.
During and after menopause, maintaining lower-body muscle is essential for supporting your balance, mobility, bone health, and ability to remain independent as you age.
Bulgarian split squats help strengthen the glutes, quads, and hamstrings while challenging balance and stability.
But you don’t have to begin with the hardest variation. Squats, lunges and glute bridges are effective too. Strength training should meet you where you are and progress safely as you get stronger.
If you’re ready to learn how to strength train safely and build muscle during menopause, enrollment for my EVOLVE Coaching Program is now open.
