This annual parade is so much fun. I’m sad we have to miss it this year.

The Stewart Manor Fire Department is excited to be hosting our 27th annual 4th of July Parade and BBQ on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 at 10:30AM. Join us in the municipal parking lot on the corner of Covert Ave and Chester Ave after the parade for food, t-shirts, cash and prize raffles, and entertainment!

IMPORTANT: Covert Ave is a dry zone - no balloons or water of any kind is permitted.

ROUTE:
Parade start - corner of Covert Ave and Salisbury Ave, continue east on Salisbury to Dover Pkwy, south on Dover Pkwy to Cambridge Ave, west on Cambridge Ave to Tulip Ave, west on Tulip ave to Covert Ave, north on Covert Ave, parade to finish in front of the Stewart Manor fire house.

All attendees are reminded to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner.

We look forward to celebrating July 4th and commemorating America’s 250th anniversary together as a community!

"What bike should I buy for my child?"
I get asked this question all the time. Parents have a number of options of what bike to get and where to get.
I highly recommend Guardian Bikes for several reasons. They are well made, lightweight, only have hand brakes (not pedal brakes) and have comfortable seats.

If someone wants an in-person buying experience, of course you can go to your local bike shop (LBS) but that is the most expensive option. Dick's Sporting Goods is a good option too. Better bikes than big box stores but much less expensive than a LBS.
