West Hartford Travel basketball / grades 5-8 info

Welcome to West Hartford Travel Basketball Program. It is our intention to participate in a travel basketball season this winter and we would like to offer two teams (Blue and Red) for 5th Grade through 8th Grade. We plan to hold free tryouts at Hall High School (Gym 😎 on the dates and times listed at the bottom of this email.
In order to try out, you must register in advance. Please click here and fully complete the google form. Unfortunately, we WILL NOT be able to accomodate walk-ins this season. Below are some COVID protocols we will have in place for the Tryouts. Those that make the teams will start practice the week of October 18th and play games from November to March.
Masks must be worn at all times unless drinking water or during a mask break
The days that have two tryouts will have a 30 minute gap between the two times to prevent a crowd crossing each other.
Boys are not allowed to bring their own basketball
Boys must bring their own water bottle
Each boy will be given a separate space around the gym for water and masks breaks
Parents are not allowed in the gym
All boys will have their temperature taken prior to entering the gym and must sanitize their hands with the sanitizer we provide.
Once tryouts are over boys must leave the gym and wait outside for their ride.
