We offer boat tours and rentals at 5 locations in Glacier National Park: Lake McDonald Lodge, Apgar, Rising Sun on St. Morning, afternoon, and evening departures are available with guided hiking options, as well as motorized and non-motorized boat rentals. Join us for a lake-view perspective of Glacier National Park and a fun and memorable experience for all ages!

Join us for 100 Years!

Glacier Park Boat Co. has released a new documentary, “Little Chief: The Centennial Restoration,” celebrating the 100-year legacy of one of Glacier National Park’s most iconic wooden boats.

The 20-minute film takes you behind the scenes of the restoration process, showcasing the craftsmanship, dedication and history that brought the 1926 Little Chief back to life for another season on
St. Mary Lake.

Now streaming publicly on the official Glacier Park Boat Company YouTube channel and coming soon to the
St. Mary Visitor Center.

Each year Little Chief carries visitors to Glacier National Park across the waters of St. Mary Lake. Meet the Glacier Lily! She is the newest boat in the Boat Co. fleet, Friday she was launched on Lake McDonald and will join the DeSmet at the Lake McDonald Lodge. The Glacier Lily was built by Glacier Park Boat Company in 1986 and after a time serving in the Gates of the Mountains, she has entered into the pristine waters of Glacier National Park.
